National Gypsum Company planning $26 million expansion, creating 14 jobs in Oxford
OXFORD, Ala. — Oxford’s NGC Industries plant announced a $26 million expansion which officials say could create up to 14 new jobs.
NGC uses discarded cardboard, magazines and print shop refuse to produce gypsum board face and back paper.
The Calhoun County Economic Development Council said the Oxford plant will increase its output and modernize as a result of the expansion.
Oxford City Council President Steven Waits said the city “is committed to advancing the manufacturing sector.”
