WatchGuard to hire 20 in Allen

ALLEN, Texas  — Video surveillance camera manufacturer WatchGuard will hire 20 engineers and add 55,000 square feet to its offices.

WatchGuard Video manufactures video surveillance cameras for law enforcement agencies, including in-car cameras and body cameras. The company currently employs 180 people.

WatchGuard has developed its own software as well as manufactures its own hardware. The City of Atlanta recently agreed to use WatchGuard’s body camera technology, coupled with the company’s in-car cameras, for its police department.
