Join the Shirt of the Month club at Oklahoma Shirt Company

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Shirt Company is a startup T-shirt company that has found the edge it needed to compete in a crowded apparel segment. The Shirt of the Month provides a T-shirt each month with a fresh, Oklahoma-themed design, mailed to the subscriber for about $13, including taxes and shipping costs.

Oklahoma Shirt was launched in 2013 by entrepreneur Justin Lawrence, who wanted to produce something that reflected pride in his home state and had a low overhead and entry cost. T-shirts filled the bill and Lawrence began a literal garage startup, screen printing shirts in his home.

The company has grown quickly and now ships shirts to 48 states and more than 100 cities in Oklahoma. It recently moved into offices in the Automobile Alley district downtown. Oklahoma Shirt supplements its Shirt of the Month subscriber base with a few custom print jobs for companies and organizations, and also has wholesale accounts with a few local companies.
